
MOORHEAD (KFGO) – Five people were hurt in a single vehicle rollover crash north of Moorhead early Sunday morning.
Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting says alcohol is believed to be a factor.
Around 2:40 a.m., emergency crews were sent to 80th Avenue and 2nd Street N. where a car went off the road and through a field before hitting the ditch and rolling.
The 21-year-old driver, a Pierz, Minnesota, man, and three passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A 23-year-old passenger from Britton, South Dakota suffered critical injuries.
All five were taken to hospitals. No names have been released.
The Sheriff’s Office, Sanford Ambulance, Sanford AirMed, Dilworth Fire, and State Patrol responded to the crash.
