Suspected driver in fatal hit-and-run crash located

FARGO (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the suspected driver in a hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist in Fargo Wednesday night has been located.

The Highway Patrol confirmed Friday the driver and the vehicle have been located. The suspect’s name has not been released. Charges have not been filed, and the investigation is still active.

Police had asked for the public’s help finding a white SUV that fled the crash scene at NP Avenue and 10th Street North. A 60-year-old man was taken to Sanford Hospital where died. His name has not been released.
