Travis Hoeg
FARGO (KFGO) – A day after he was placed on administrative leave, Fargo North High School head boys basketball coach Travis Hoeg was reinstated Friday.
The school district says it investigated an allegation on social media that Hoeg was sending an explicit message to male and female students. After a thorough investigation, the district determined that Hoeg did not violate staff conduct or student-staff relation policies and he was reinstated to his teaching and coaching duties.
He’s a teacher at Ben Franklin Middle School.
In a statement from Hoeg released by the district, Hoeg said he’s thankful for the thorough investigation and the findings of no policy violations. He said he was excited to get back to focusing on his students, players and family. He said it was a difficult experience and he and his family look forward to moving past it. He said it is crucial for the well-being of his family that they put the experience behind them.
