FARGO, N.D. (KFGO/KVRR) — Fargo Park Board has voted to update its fees for the upcoming pool season after outrage over rates passed last August.
Fargo Parks originally increased a family season pass to all five pools from $193 a year to $500.
The reduced family season pass rate passed Tuesday comes in at $350. A youth season pool pass will now be $150, down from $210. There are still some small increases in daily fees at Island Park, Davies, and Southwest Rec. Pool.
Fargo Park District Executive Director Susan Faus admits to being too aggressive in raising fees, saying they hadn’t been increased in years.
Scholarships are available on the district’s website that’s also where you can find pool passes starting April 1.
