Fargo Police Capt. Chris Helmick
MOORHEAD (KFGO/KVRR) — The City of Moorhead has made a conditional offer to Fargo Police Capt. Chris Helmick to be its next police chief.
Helmick graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead and the FBI National Academy. He has been in law enforcement since 2001.
Current Police Chief Shannon Monroe is retiring at the end of March.
The City Council will vote whether to approve Helmick’s hiring at its March 10 meeting.
