Rep. Josh Christy (R-District 27)
FARGO (KFGO) – Funeral services are set for Republican Represenative Josh Christy of Fargo who died last Tuesday in Bismarck at age 43.
The service will start at 11 a.m. Friday at Living Waters Lutheran Church in south Fargo. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Governor Kelly Armstrong has ordered that all US and North Dakota flags to be flown at half-staff from dawn to dusk on Friday in honor and remembrance of Christy. He was elected in 2022 to represent District 27 which covers a far southern section of Fargo along with Horace and Oxbow.
Christy was an advanced computing and AI strategic consultant. He was married with three daughters. His wife, Mary, is Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak’s deputy state director.
Legislative colleagues say Christy had underlying health issues.
