SAUK CENTRE, Minn. – A semi driver is dead after crashing on Interstate 94 late Tuesday night in Stearns County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a truck driven by 60-year-old David Elders from Joliet, Illinois left the interstate, went into the south ditch and landed on its side near Sauk Centre. The report says Elders died at the scene and his passenger, 61-year-old Kim Elders, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The roadway was dry at the time and both were wearing seat belts.
