Scott Leabo (OTC Detention Center)
DENT, Minn. (KFGO) – A man from Erhard, Minnesota has been charged for threatening to shoot customers at a bar on Star Lake last Thursday night.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Bell’s Resort Bar and Grill saying that a man was causing a disturbance, that he may have a pistol and was threatening to shoot other customers.
While en route, deputies were told that the man had left and had broken the front door. Bar staff secured the door with an electrical cord. 66-year-old Scott Leabo was found in his car.
One customer told deputies that they had been playing pool with Leabo when Leabo threw chairs.
Leabo did not actually have a gun. He showed signs of intoxication and was taken to Lake Region Healthcare before he was taken to jail in Fergus Falls.
Leabo is charged with threats of violence, DWI, assault, damage to property, and disorderly conduct.
