
WATERTOWN, S.D. (KFGO/KVRR) โ Three people arrested for credit card fraud in Watertown, South Dakota are accused of pulling the same scams earlier in Fargo.
Police arrested 19-year-old Joseph Rivers, 20-year-old Labriah Vincent and 18-year-old Hezekiah Vincent, all of Flint, Michigan, for fraudulent use of credit cards, organized retail crime and other charges.
The trio were caught after using fraudulent credit card information to purchase $700 worth of lottery tickets at a Watertown gas station.
They were denied earlier at a Fargo gas station and at another Watertown gas station and were quickly located and arrested by police.
Officers found they had around $2,000 in cash and multiple prepaid debit cards.
A manager at one of the gas stations was alerted by its corporate office about a scam that happened previously in Fargo.
The alert included images of the suspects and their vehicle.
