44,880 students are enrolled in the state’s 11 universities.
The University System says full-time enrollment is up 4.71% from last year.
This spring’s enrollment is the most for the university system since 2016 when enrollment was just under 44,910.
“This is a remarkable achievement for our campus presidents, faculty, staff, and leadership within the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education,” NDUS Chancellor Mark Hagerott said. “We are continually innovating and finding adaptive ways to entice students to pursue higher education in North Dakota.”
