WEST FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man was arrested in West Fargo Monday night after crashing into a police squad car and a number of parked vehicles during a pursuit.
A West Fargo Police spokesperson says officers tried to make a traffic stop for an open warrant and suspended license, but the driver fled. Officers pursued the vehicle, and used a pursuit intervention technique, but the driver continued.
Eventually, the vehicle came to a stop after hitting the squad car and parked vehicles.
Elijah Belgarde, 23, was booked into the Cass County jail for fleeing, reckless endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding warrant.
No one was injured during the pursuit or crash.
