FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) — A Horace woman has changed her plea for causing a crash that injured three teenage girls last summer.
McKenzie Moser, 18, entered an Alford plea to criminal vehicular injury. That means she acknowledged that there would be enough evidence to convict her.
A trial set to start Tuesday has now been canceled and Moser will be sentenced on April 28.
Moser was arrested June 13 and had a blood-alcohol level of .194, over twice the legal limit for driving.
Two 16-year-old girls and a 14-year-old girl were in the other car. Two of the girls suffered broken vertebrae, one had a broken leg and one had a lacerated spleen.
All four suffered head wounds.
Moser was also involved in a hit-and-run before the crash in Fargo where officers found the front bumper and license plate to her car.
