
Emerado, N.D. (KFGO) – An Emerado, N.D. home was destroyed by a fire over the weekend.
The fire department says the blaze was reported shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday night. As fire crews arrived, flames were discovered in the attic space and as firefighters attempted to extinguish the fire, it spread to other parts of the structure.
All occupants were able to escape without injury. one firefighter was transported to Altru Hospital for injuries sustained on scene and was released a short time later.
The cause of the fire is undetermined and under investigation.
The Emerado Fire Department was assisted by the Grand Forks AFB Fire Department, Larimore Volunteer Fire Department, the Grand Forks Sheriff’s Office, the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Grand Forks AFB 319th Medical Group Ambulance and Altru ambulance.
