WEST FARGO (KFGO) โ A Fargo man was arrested for possessing drug paraphernalia, and a Graceville, Minnesota woman was arrested for fleeing, preventing arrest, and an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop in West Fargo Thursday night.
A West Fargo Police spokesperson says the pair was stopped for a traffic violation shortly after 10:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Sheyenne Street.
Michael Carpenter, 47, was driving and put in the back of a squad car for investigation. While this was going on, police say the passenger โ 20-year-old Sophia Skoog โ got into the driverโs seat and tried to drive off.
The officer used the squad car to pin the vehicle against a snow bank. Skoog tried to run, but was quickly caught.
Carpenter and Skoog are both in the Cass County jail.
