FARGO (KFGO) – Red River Valley SWAT will be conducting training exercises Thursday in Fargo.
The training will happen from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the 1700 block of 25th Avenue S. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the 1600 block of 64th Avenue S.
SWAT vehicles will have emergency lights activated and team members may be carrying firearms and moving around buildings. No live rounds will be used, but people in the area may hear loud noises and yelling.
The training is closed to the public and media.
