FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) โ A small crowd gathered outside the downtown Fargo post office to express their concerns over immigration and other issues, including Medicaid and the SNAP program.
โWe need to do something. We just canโt sit in our houses and be upset about stuff. We have to get out and try to make a change,โ said Marlene Christian, a Fargo resident.
The protest was organized on social media. The demonstrators said they wanted to send a message to Gov. Kelly Armstrong, Sen. Kevin Cramer, and Sen. John Hoeven.
โTheyโre not here. The people are here. The people are who youโre supposed to be representing, not your party,โ said Ben Lippincott, another Fargo resident.
The protest comes on the same day that a national protest against Project 2025 was planned at state capitols across the country.
