FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man pleaded not guilty to fleeing from police after a chase in south Fargo Sunday.
Just before 8 p.m. Sunday, a Fargo officer attempted to stop a BMW for speeding in the 3800 Block of 45th St. S. The driver, 26-year-old Kriston Anderson, fled at high speeds through a red light, and the officer stopped the pursuit.
Court records say the car was clocked by two other officers going 69 mph in a 40 mph zone on 45th St. S. Those officers attempted to stop the car, but the driver fled again. Officers noted the driver nearly lost control twice while turning at high rates of speed.
The car was eventually trapped by a citizen’s vehicle, and Anderson was arrested for felony fleeing. He was also cited for dark tint and loud exhaust. He pleaded not guilty Tuesday.
Anderson has been cited 26 times in North Dakota and Minnesota since 2022, including citations for drag racing, speeding, dark tint, loud exhaust, and failing to display license plates.
