GLADSTONE, N.D. (KFGO) – A woman is dead and six other people, including three children, are seriously injured after a semi rear-ended a car on Interstate 94 Monday night.
The Highway Patrol says the car was westbound between Gladstone and Richardton with two men, two women, and four children between 4 and 8 years old inside. The car slowed just before the crash.
A 33-year-old woman died. The driver of the car is a 30-year-old Dickinson man. He, along with a 31-year-old woman, 34-year-old man, and three of the children suffered serious injuries.
It’s unclear if any of the eight people in the car were wearing restraints.
The 50-year-old Texas man driving the semi was not hurt.
The Highway Patrol says charges against both drivers are under investigation.
The Stark County Sheriff’s Office, Dickinson Police, Richardton Ambulance, Taylor Fire Department, and Dickinson Rescue assisted the Highway Patrol at the scene.
