WEST FARGO (KFGO) – A Moorhead man is in the Cass County jail after leading police on a brief pursuit in West Fargo early Monday morning.
West Fargo Police say officers saw a man passed out behind the wheel of a car parked at a gas station on 13th Avenue E. When an officer tried to make contact with the driver, later identified as 42-year-old David Jacobsen, he drove off.
Police say officers deployed stop sticks and Jacobsen drove over them, but continued on 13th Avenue E. An officer used a pursuit intervention technique to stop the vehicle.
Jacobsen was arrested for felony fleeing, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension, and multiple outstanding warrants.
No one was hurt during the pursuit.
