FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo Police arrested a West Fargo man for reckless endangerment after he admitted to firing gunshots into the air in south Fargo Wednesday night.
Officers responded to the 1600 block of 34th Street S. around 8:10 p.m. for a report of gunshots.
A man at the scene, identified as 53-year-old Eric Jensen, said a man who was staying with him stole a vehicle and property from his home. Jensen found the vehicle and the man and began to argue with him. Jensen said when the man started walking away, Jensen fired several shots into the air to try to scare the man and keep him in the area.
The man left and hasn’t been found by officers. Jensen was booked into the Cass County jail.
Fargo police say the investigation is ongoing.
