The 2024 election has been certified and there was no riot. No one stormed the Capitol, bludgeoned police officers with an American Flag, or wiped feces on the walls of the U.S. Capitol. In other words, there wasn’t an attempt to overthrow our government. There wasn’t an insurrection.
I’ve always wondered if all the people that played a role in the insurrection feel any guilt about their actions. If they realize what they showed the world about how many people would like to be governed. I truly don’t think they do. I believe they feel what they were doing was patriotic. They still think that a man they see as their savior gave them an order, and they followed it. In their mind, all the violence was justified no matter how many lives it cost.
To make my point, I want the Trump supporters reading this to be honest with themselves. If Joe Biden said we were going to take over Greenland, or make Canada our 51st state, would you think he was senile? If Biden said that he was changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and is planning to take over the Panama Canal by force, would you think he’s losing it? I think we all know the answer to that.
And that’s what scares me about Donald Trump. It’s his supporters loving him so much, they believe and support whatever he says without question, no matter how many lies they know he tells. They think of him in a biblical sense and is a man that should be worshipped and exalted.
Our neighbors to the North and South no longer respect us. Hell, most of our allies around the world don’t either. I have no doubt they fear us, but they no longer see us as friend. They see us as someone that wants what they have.
In the end, that’ll be freedom.
