Ayr elevator employee injured in fall from train car

AYR, N.D. (KFGO) – An employee of the grain elevator in Ayr was injured when he fell from a train car Thursday afternoon.   

The  Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Page Ambulance, Page Fire Department, and Sanford AirMed responded. The sheriff’s office says the employee was flown to a Fargo hospital.    

The Sheriff’s Office, Burlington Northern Santa Fe, and North Dakota OSHA are looking into the circumstances surrounding the fall.   

More information about the employee and their condition hasn’t been released.
