Everyone safe after vehicle breaks through ice on west-central Minnesota lake

ELBOW LAKE, Minn. (KFGO) – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office says no one was hurt when a vehicle went through the ice on Pomme de Terre Lake.   

It happened around 6:15 p.m. Friday. Everyone made it out of the vehicle on their own.   

The Sheriff’s Office is reminding people that with the warm temperatures, the ice is not always safe.
