COLFAX, N.D. (KFGO) – A Fargo man was arrested on I-29 following a pursuit shortly after midnight Friday in southeastern North Dakota.
A Roberts County, South Dakota sheriff’s deputy chased a car into Richland County. The North Dakota Highway Patrol took over the pursuit near the Colfax exit. A trooper used a spike strip to deflate two of the car’s tires. Another trooper then utilized a PIT maneuver to push the car into the median where it became disabled.
Gregory Richards, 40, was arrested and taken to the jail in Wahpeton. A woman in the car was transported to a home in Fargo.
Richards is expected to face several charges in North Dakota that may include reckless endangerment, felony fleeing and DUI-drugs. Other charges are possible in South Dakota.
