DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (KFGO) – Two people were injured in a crash shortly before 7 a.m. Monday northeast of Detroit Lakes.
The State Patrol says a car and a MNDOT plow truck were both traveling westbound on Highway 34 in Height of Land Township when the car ran into the rear of the plow truck.
The driver of the car, 23-year-old Austin Engel, and 28-year-old Zachery Krause, the driver of the plow truck, both of Detroit Lakes, were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The highway was snow and ice covered at the time of the collision.
