YANKTON, S.D. (KFGO) – The South Dakota Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) is investigating an officer-involved shooting at a school in Yankton.
Attorney General Marty Jackley says the shooting happened Thursday night and Yankton Police requested the DCI investigation.
One person was injured. That person’s condition hasn’t been released. Jackley says the officers involved were not hurt.
Jackley says the DCI will release a shooting summary in about 30 days.
No other details have been released.
