Douglas James Swenson II (Clay County Correctional Center)
MOORHEAD (KFGO) – A Moorhead man has been sentenced to 36 years in prison for the stabbing death of his half-brother in March of last year.
Douglas Swenson entered an Alford plea, acknowledging that there would be enough evidence to convict him.
The body of Dustin Momerak, 29, was found in an apartment the two shared in the 3300 block of 12th S. S in Moorhead.
Court papers in Clay County District Court say Momerak was found mutilated and nearly decapitated. An autopsy determined that Momerak died of sharp and blunt force injuries.
