MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – A Minneapolis man will spend 24 years in federal prison after robbing two women while armed and stealing from another.
Raphael Nunn was found guilty of one count of kidnapping and two counts each of bank fraud and aggravated identity theft.
Prosecutors say Nunn confronted a woman in Arden Hills in September 2022, brandished a handgun, forced her to drive to a Minneapolis A-T-M to withdraw cash for him, and then took the victim’s keys.
A search of Nunn’s phone turned up evidence of the kidnapping, stolen items from another woman, and evidence of a third woman being robbed at gunpoint.
