Two people found dead in submerged car near Thief River Falls, Minn.

PENNINGTON CO., Minn. (KFGO/KVRR) — Two people are dead after crashing into a body of water southwest of Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

Pennington County Sheriff Seth Vettleson says vehicle rollover was reported on Center Street, west of Pembina Trail, just before 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Deputies found the vehicle partially submerged.

Two people were found dead inside the vehicle.

The names of the deceased are being withheld until the family notified.

The crash is under investigation.
