Kirk Edward Hazlett the Third (Pine County Jail)
HINCKLEY, MINN. – A Cambridge, Minnesota man has been charged with fatally shooting his father during a hunting trip Friday in Pine County.
Prosecutors say Kirk Edward Hazlett the Third is facing second-degree murder, kidnapping, and burglary for the killing of Kirk Edward Hazlett the Second.
Investigators say Kirk Hazlett shot his father several times ‘execution-style’ at a cabin near Hinckley and was later arrested at his home in Cambridge.
Witnesses told authorities the father and son had a strained relationship for a long time.
