The West Fargo Horace Hawks had two big interceptions, including one for a touchdown by Israel Butler to lead win the school’s first state championship 14-8 against Grand Forks Red River. The Rough Riders were able to strip a fumble away from the Hawks with under two minutes left in the game, but on the next play of scrimmage threw an interception to close out the win for the high school that is less than a half-decade old.
