PERLEY, Minn. (KFGO) – A Fargo man has been identified as the victim of a deer-hunting accident north of Perley last Saturday morning.
Norman County Sheriff Ben Fall says Timothy Rousar, 37, has since been released from a Fargo hospital. Fall says Rousar was shot in the face by a member of his hunting party. He was struck in the left side of the face by a slug from a 12-gauge shotgun. The slug remains in Rousar’s sinus cavity. Fall says the investigation has been concluded and no charges will be filed.
A 34-year-old Dilworth man died in a separate hunting accident northeast of Moorhead. He was also a shot by a person in his hunting group.
