MOORHEAD (KFGO) – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of a Dilworth man who was shot by a stray bullet from someone within his deer hunting party Saturday morning northeast of Moorhead.
Jace Srur, 34, suffered a gunshot wound to the head. The injury was considered life-threatening and non-survivable.
Deputies and a state trooper responded to the scene shortly before 8 a.m. Srur was flown to Sanford Medical Center by AirMed. Sheriff Mark Empting says the incident remains under investigation.
