Chris Stark (contributed)
FARGO (KFGO) – A GoFundMe has been created for a Fargo man who was electrocuted while working near Argusville last Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Chris Stark was electrocuted after grabbing a live power line. Stark is an equipment operator, and grabbed the wire after an excavator dug it up. Stark’s company had been told the line was not active by an electric company.
Stark had to be flown by Sanford AirMed to a Fargo hospital. His brother says his right hand had to be amputated, and he has a broken hip and scapula, fractured lower spine, and severe burns on much of his body that will require skin grafting.
Stark’s injuries will continue to require surgeries, and the family started the GoFundMe to help with medical costs. The link to the fundraiser can be found here.
