FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — UPS is looking to hire more than 600 seasonal employees throughout North Dakota for their 7th annual UPS Brown Friday hiring blitz.
This weekend the company will be hosting in-person and virtual seasonal hiring events nationwide.
The company plans to bring on at least 60,000 seasonal employees, which is part of the company’s broader plan to hire more than 125,000 workers.
Seasonal worker positions include driver helpers, support drivers, and package handlers.
“We need to beat the holiday season, beat the rush, shop early, ship early with UPS. Because of so we are increasing our staffing by about 25-20 percent versus last year to catch the heavier workload. Based on four less operating days of peak season this year, but we’re fully prepared,” said Ryan Zenoni, Fargo Division Package Manager.
The hiring event will take place in two locations in North Dakota:
- Bismarck – 5017 Transport Lane, Bismarck ND 58501 Friday, and Saturday 10am-3pm
- Fargo – 3901 12th Avenue N, Fargo ND 58102 Friday and Saturday 10am-3pm
