ROSEAU, Minn. – A rural Warroad man has pleaded guilty in the shooting death of his wife in August of last year.
David Corneliusen, 65, was offered a Norgaard plea, not remembering the crime but admitting his role in the death. A trial set to start next week has been canceled. He was charged with second-degree murder.
Corneliusen said he shot his wife, Mary, with a pistol after an argument. He’ll be sentenced on December 16.
He faces up to 40 years in prison.
