SANBORN, N.D. (KFGO) – The highway patrol has released the name of a man from Sanborn in eastern North Dakota who died in a crash in Barnes county early Tuesday morning.
Matthew Berg, 30, was traveling west on a county road west of Sanborn when he drove his SUV onto the north shoulder of the highway. Berg lost control of the SUV, which crossed back over the highway, went into the south ditch, and rolled. Berg was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. He died at the scene.
The patrol, Barnes County Sheriff’s Office and Sanborn Fire Dept. responded to the crash.
