(Reuters) – Technology-focused investment firm Francisco Partners is buying medical software company AdvancedMD from Global Payments, the companies said on Wednesday.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Global Payments had acquired AdvancedMD in a $700 million deal in 2018.
AdvancedMD, founded in 1999, provides payments and other healthcare-focused services to hospitals and independent physicians.
The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter, the companies said.
