MANKATO, Minn. – Prosecutors in the Adam Fravel murder trial are emphasizing forensic evidence they believe links him to the death of his ex-girlfriend and mother of their children, Madeline Kingsbury of Winona.
The trial in Mankato enters its eighth day, featuring testimony about the evidence collected after Kingsbury’s body was discovered in June of last year.
One witness testified about scratches and bruises found on Fravel about a week after Kingsbury went missing. Investigators suggest that these marks could indicate Fravel was involved in a struggle.
The judge ruled Monday that a journal found in Kingsbury’s bedroom will not be presented to the jury.
