WHITE EARTH, Minn. (KFGO) – A White Earth man was arrested after locking himself in his bedroom and yelling he was going to shoot Becker County deputies.
The Sheriff’s Office says deputies went to 50-year-old Robert Azure’s home around 7:30 p.m. Sunday to serve a warrant. Deputies went inside and saw Azure, but he locked himself in his bedroom and said he was going to shoot the deputies. More deputies and officers from White Earth and Callaway responded.
About an hour later, Azure came out and was arrested without incident.
Azure was booked into the Becker County Jail on warrants out of Mahnomen and Becker Counties for Felony Drug Possession and Burglary, and Misdemeanor warrants for Violation of an Order for Protections and Domestic Assault.
