Quikrete is in talks to acquire Summit Materials, sources say

NEW YORK (Reuters) – Building materials provider Quikrete is in early-stage talks to acquire rival Summit Materials, people familiar with the matter said on Thursday.

Quikrete and Summit Materials did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Bloomberg reported on the talks earlier on Thursday.
