GRANDIN, N.D. (KFGO) – A 40-year-old Texas man is dead after a head-on crash in eastern North Dakota Monday morning.
The highway patrol says the man from Rio Grande City, whose name hasn’t been released, was driving a car north on County Road 81 north of Grandin when the car crossed the centerline and hit a southbound pickup pulling a trailer. It happened just after 4 a.m.
The driver of the car died at the scene. The driver of the pickup, a 49-year-old Kindred man, suffered minor injuries.
Grandin Fire, Grandin Ambulance Service, and the Traill County Sheriff’s office also responded.
