MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. – The University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus is part of the first Uni-Run food delivery service by robots.
Students, faculty, staff, and community members can order delivery almost anywhere on the U of M East Bank from Panda Express, Starbucks, and Erbert & Gerbert’s in Coffman Memorial Union.
The robots, designed and operated by Starship Technologies, currently deliver for $2.49 plus a 10% delivery fee.
The autonomous robot gets the food, which can be tracked on an interactive map. Once it arrives, customers unlock the robot through the app to retrieve their food.
