GRAND FORKS, N.D. (UND Athletics)– After falling 41-17 at No. 2 North Dakota State, North Dakota slipped to No. 9 in the Stats Perform Poll and is No. 10 in the latest AFCA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.
The MVFC has five teams represented in the Stats Perform Poll. South Dakota State holds the top spot, trailed by North Dakota State (No. 2) and South Dakota (No. 4). North Dakota dropped two spots to No. 9, while Illinois State rounds out the poll for the conference at No. 16.
In the AFCA Coaches’ Top 25, the league has six teams ranked. The Jackrabbits remain No. 1, followed by the Bison at No. 2 and the Coyotes at No. 4. The Fighting Hawks sit No. 10. The Redbirds (No. 16) and Bears (No. 25) are the final MVFC teams ranked in the poll.
No. 9/10 North Dakota will host Northern Iowa at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19. The game will be televised on Midco Sports and carried on the Home of Economy Radio Network.
