MOORHEAD (KFGO) – An investigation is underway into the cause of a fire reported shortly before 12:30 a.m. Friday at a twin home at 1006 33rd Street South in Moorhead.
Fire Battalion Chief Justin Rosenfeldt says the deck at the rear of the home was fully involved and the flames were moving up the outside walls.
He says everyone escaped before firefighters arrived. Firefighters were able to get a quick knockdown to the exterior, but there was a significant amount of damage to the attic.
The neighboring twin home also had some damage. Preliminary damage is estimated at more than $100,000.
