There’s an energy out there that Donald Trump can no longer disregard. It’s an energy that I would argue, America has been hungry for. Americans are sick of conflict everyday and the name-calling from elected officials. If Kamala Harris wins in November, I think that ends.
I don’t believe in polls as much as I used to. I think cell phones are a big reason for my change. I do believe in voter registration as an indicator though. And if I’m right in this election cycle, then Harris has a chance to win despite being an underdog. Young voters went from feeling they had no reason to vote, to many of them now being excited to vote. And most importantly, they’re registering to vote across the country.
I don’t think that’s solely because of Taylor Swift encouraging voter registration, but I also don’t think it hurt. I believe the uptick started when their choice changed from being just two 80-year-old men. Joe Biden dropping out gave voters a woman from a younger generation to vote for. Harris can show more understanding and appreciation for a lot of voters that Biden and Trump couldn’t.
And do you have any guesses who this new generation of registered voters will vote for? It’s a guess I think we all can answer. And if you can tell, then I assure you, Trump can tell too and it scares the hell out of him.

Where is Kevin Cramer? I realize he’s favored to win the Senate race in North Dakota this fall, since he’s a Republican in a Republican state. But he is definitely taking the race for granted. Which means, he’s taking you for granted.
Cramer has a history of not showing up. He doesn’t attend meetings in his office when delegations from North Dakota go to D.C., and he’s making everyone get approval from his wife to simply talk to him.
The question we all should be asking is, Why? Why would a man that loved the public arena turn down debates and other opportunities to talk to voters? That was one of the things I respected most about him. He thrived on making and defending his beliefs, and never seemed to fear the pushback. Now, he worries about approval from his wife and ticking-off a man that rules his party.
I don’t know if it’s because of a lack of interest in the job, or maybe the actions of his son. I just know that Katrina Christiansen is out talking to more North Dakotans and is outworking him.
And it’s showing.
Good riding with you,
Joel
