
DULUTH, Minn. (KFGO KDAL) โ Duluth Police responded to the Myers-Wilkins Elementary School on reports that a vehicle had crashed into the building Friday morning.
The initial investigation showed that the SUV with a driver and one passenger ran a stop sign, proceeded through an intersection, went down an embankment and crashed into the exterior of the school gymnasium.
The building sustained significant damage but there were no students or staff in the gym at the time.
The two people in the vehicle were taken by ambulance to a hospital.
The school district is examining the stability of the gym.
