FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo Public Schools says a vague threat made over Snapchat was not credible.
Superintendent Rupak Ghandi says the district was made aware of a potential threat to ‘Fargo Schools’ Thursday morning.
Fargo Police investigated, and learned the threat did not originate in the Fargo area. Ghandi says the district shares its name with several other districts across the country, and it’s not the first time other districts have been confused with Fargo Schools.
Gandhi says schools will continue to operate as usual, since the threat was deemed not credible.
Police are continuing to investigate.
