IRON JUNCTION, Minn. – 12 students from Cherry School in Iron Junction in northeastern Minnesota were were taken to a hospital after a car t-boned a school bus with 20 children on board Thursday morning.
St. Louis County Sheriff Gordon Ramsay says all of the hospitalized students’ injuries are considered non-life threatening. Ramsay says the bus driver was also hospitalized. The driver of the car was airlifted to the hospital in Virginia with serious injuries.
Iron Junction is east of Hibbing.
