VALLEY CITY, N.D. (KFGO) – A 25-year-old Valley City man is facing charges after he allegedly stabbed and slashed another man during a fight with another man outside a Valley City bar.
Police were called to a report of a fight in the alley behind Boomers Corner Keg Wednesday night.
Investigators say Dalten Perleberg and another man got into an argument inside the bar. Perleberg slashed a man multiple times, and stabbed the victim in the head. The victim knocked the knife out of Perleberg’s hand, put him in a headlock, and brought him to the ground. The victim then hit Perleberg multiple times, got up, and kicked him in the face.
Both men were taken to Mercy Hospital for their injuries. While at the hospital, Perleberg continued to make threats towards the victim.
Perleberg faces a charge of aggravated assault with a weapon. He appeared in court Thursday, and is out on bail.
